Jigsaw (10 points)

Extra Credit
Pick one of the following options to submit. Each option is worth 30 points.
A. Research
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat was written based on the "coat of many colours" story from the Book of Genesis in the Bible. For this assignment you need to find another part of the Book of Genesis which you think would make a good musical and tell me the story. You do not need to worry about adapting it or thinking up song titles, I just want you to tell me the tale in your own words. There is a lot of narrative in this part of the Bible which deals with creation, floods, sacrifice, destruction, a whale and much more so you should be able to find something quite easily. Minimum 300 words.
B. Musical
I don't want to repeat myself but it's that time of the lesson again. Sing me (or play on an instrument) one of the songs from Joseph and upload your video to a file sharing website or youtube. Again I am looking for effort and enthusiasm and natural ability is not required to do this part of the extra credit. Songs must be at least a minute long and you are not restricted by the gender of the character whose song it is.
C. Art
This time you have a blank canvas and free reign to create anything you want. It can be a drawing of some aspect of the musical such as a scene or prop or it can be totally abstract such as a pattern. This can be created in any medium including drawing, painting, sculpture and photoshop. All I ask is that, in honour of Joseph's coat, it is colourful. You must include a minimum of 10 colours to get full marks.
D. Puzzle
Since you've already had a colourful jigsaw in the main part of the homework, I thought I'd offer something different for the EC. You're going to play a game called "Egypt Puzzle" which can be found on this site. To get 30 points you must reach a score of 3000 points and send me a screenshot of your achievement. If you can't get to 3000 points I will give you partial credit for any score over 500 points (on an increasing scale). Have fun!
